FAQs
Is there a charge for service calls?
There is no charge for on-site service calls to address service interruptions or problems with ArkLaNet issued equipment. There will be a $150 charge for all other service calls where a technician is dispatched to the service address.
Does ArkLaNet provide a wireless router?
No. You will need to purchase a wireless router prior to service installation.
Which wireless router should I buy?
The following wireless routers have proven to be both reliable, flexible and affordable options and are highly recommended for use with ArkLaNet service:

What happens if I switch routers?
Wireless service will be interrupted. Please contact ArkLaNet prior to changing routers if you have existing wireless internet service.
How much is the site survey?
Site surveys are free but need to be scheduled in advance. Please contact our offices for scheduling assistance.
What can be done to improve service?
ArkLaNet can install affordable custom wireless antenna towers to dramatically improve line-of-site internet service. Prices begin at $2000 for a stand-alone (no wires) 50′ tower. Call for additional details.
